The book emphasizes the importance of extending protective measures to encompass all of a debtor’s assets, rather than limiting them to specific ones, while advocating for the enhancement of legal frameworks to ensure social justice and bolster confidence in the legal system.   This publication is a significant addition to Iraqi and Arab legal literature, filling a crucial gap with an in-depth study that keeps pace with legislative developments and digital transformation. The seminar was attended by Professor Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Farhan, Director General of the Biotechnology Research Center, along with a group of faculty members and staff from various university departments.   The seminar included a lecture delivered by a specialist from the National Security Agency, addressing how to counter risks arising from social media and ways to mitigate them. The lecture also highlighted the concept of security awareness, its importance in identifying threats within the community, and detailed methods for detecting and effectively managing sources of potential danger.   The seminar aimed to strengthen security measures in educational institutions and protect them from potential risks by proposing effective strategies to create a safe and stable educational environment.   ناقشت كلية العلوم السياسية في جامعة النهرين رسالة الماجستير الموسومة “الثنائية المدنية-العسكرية في إدارة السلطة بعد التغيير السياسي: الجزائر والسودان بعد العام 2019 (دراسة مقارنة)” للطالبة نور حاكم حسين علي.    هدفت الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على الجوانب التاريخية لطبيعة العلاقة بين التيارات المدنية والمؤسسة العسكرية منذ مرحلة ما بعد الاستقلال وحتى العام 2019، ودراسة دور المؤسسة العسكرية في إدارة المرحلة الانتقالية بعد الإطاحة بكل من الرئيس الجزائري عبد العزيز بوتفليقة والرئيس السوداني عمر البشير، بالإضافة إلى تحليل كيفية إدارة السلطة من قبل التيارات المدنية والمؤسسة العسكرية بعد العام 2019.   اوضحت الدراسة  تحليل العلاقة المعقدة بين التيارات المدنية والمؤسسة العسكرية في الجزائر والسودان بعد العام 2019، مع استكشاف تأثير هذه العلاقة على السياسة والاستقرار في كلا البلدين.    اكدت الدراسة اهمية فهم الديناميكيات المدنية-العسكرية التي تُشكل واقع الحكم في الجزائر والسودان، مما يوفر رؤى أعمق حول كيفية تحقيق التوازن بين الأطراف المختلفة لضمان الاستقرار السياسي والإصلاح الديمقراطي.     A Master’s Thesis at Al-Nahrain University Discusses the Civil-Military Duality in Power Management in Algeria and Sudan   The College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University discussed the master’s thesis titled “The Civil-Military Duality in Power Management After Political Change: Algeria and Sudan After 2019 (A Comparative Study)” by student Noor Hakeem Hussein Ali.   The study aimed to highlight the historical aspects of the relationship between civilian movements and the military institution from the post-independence era up to 2019. It also examined the role of the military institution in managing the transitional phase following the ousting of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, as well as analyzing how power is managed by both civilian movements and the military institution after 2019.   The study clarified the complex relationship between civilian movements and the military institution in Algeria and Sudan after 2019, exploring how this relationship impacts politics and stability in both countries.   The study emphasized the importance of understanding the civil-military dynamics that shape the political reality in Algeria and Sudan, offering deeper insights into how to achieve a balance between the different parties to ensure political stability and democratic reform.

  أقامت كلية العلوم السياسية في جامعة النهرين ندوة علمية بعنوان “تأثير العمالة على الاستقرار السياسي والتنمية المستدامة”، نظمها قسم النظم السياسية والسياسات العامة، بمشاركة عدد من أساتذة الكلية الذين قدموا أوراقًا بحثية متخصصة، فضلاً عن معالي وزير العمل والشؤون الاجتماعية، السيد أحمد الأسدي، الذي كان من ضمن المحاضرين الرئيسيين في الندوة.   تناولت الندوة تأثير العمالة على الاستقرار السياسي والتنمية المستدامة، مع التركيز على التحديات والمخاطر المرتبطة بها وتأثيراتها السلبية على العملية السياسية والمجتمعية. كما تم عرض حلول واستراتيجيات عملية للحد من آثار هذه المشكلة، وتعزيز دور العمالة في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة.   وأعرب عميد كلية العلوم السياسية ، الأستاذ الدكتور أسامة مرتضى باقر السعيدي، عن أهمية هذه الندوة في تسليط الضوء على أحد القضايا الجوهرية التي تؤثر بشكل مباشر على الاستقرار السياسي والتنمية في المجتمع. وأضاف أن هذه الفعاليات العلمية تساهم في تعزيز الوعي الأكاديمي والمجتمعي بشأن تأثير العمالة، كما تفتح المجال لمناقشات موضوعية تهدف إلى إيجاد حلول عملية قابلة للتطبيق.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين      The College of Political Science Holds a Scientific Seminar on the Impact of Labor on Political Stability and Sustainable Development   The College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University organized a scientific seminar titled “The Impact of Labor on Political Stability and Sustainable Development,” hosted by the Department of Political Systems and Public Policies. The seminar featured contributions from several faculty members who presented specialized research papers, in addition to the Honorable Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Al-Asadi, who was one of the keynote speakers.   The seminar addressed the impact of labor on political stability and sustainable development, focusing on the challenges and risks associated with labor and its negative effects on the political and societal process. It also proposed practical solutions and strategies to mitigate these issues and enhance the role of labor in achieving sustainable development.   The Dean of the College of Political Science, Professor Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, expressed the importance of the seminar in highlighting a crucial issue that directly affects political stability and development in society.   في إطار تعزيز التعاون العلمي والأكاديمي والتباحث حول تحقيق التوأمة العلمية، استقبل السيد عميد كلية هندسة المعلومات الأستاذ الدكتور حكمت نجم عبدالله، رئيس قسم هندسة الأمن السيبراني في كلية المأمون، الدكتور طيف سامي، وذلك لتوقيع عقد توأمة علمية بين الكليتين.   ناقش اللقاء موضوع التوأمة العلمية بين قسمي هندسة الأمن السيبراني في كلية هندسة المعلومات وكلية المأمون، في ظل التوجهات الوزارية التي تشجع على تعزيز التعاون العلمي والأكاديمي بين الجامعات الحكومية والأهلية. كما تم التطرق إلى أهمية تطوير المناهج الأكاديمية في مجال الأمن السيبراني لمواكبة التطورات التكنولوجية المتسارعة، خصوصًا في ظل التحديات الحديثة التي تواجه الأنظمة الرقمية، مثل الهجمات السيبرانية والتهديدات الأمنية التي تتطلب تقنيات وأساليب جديدة في الحماية.   تباحث الطرفان سبل توسيع أفق التعاون بين الكليتين في مجالات البحث العلمي المشترك، بما في ذلك إقامة ورش عمل ومحاضرات علمية، وتبادل الخبرات الأكاديمية والتقنية بين الطلاب والأساتذة في كلا القسمين.   من المتوقع أن تساهم هذه التوأمة في تطوير قدرات الطلاب في مجال هندسة الأمن السيبراني، وتعزيز سبل التعاون بين الجامعات الحكومية والأهلية لمواكبة تحديات العصر الرقمي.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين      Dean of the College of Information Engineering Signs an Academic Partnership Agreement with Al-Mamon College   As part of enhancing scientific and academic cooperation and discussing the achievement of an academic partnership, the Dean of the College of Information Engineering, Professor Dr. Hikmat Najm Abdullah, received Dr. Taif Sami, Head of the Cybersecurity Engineering Department at Al-Mamon College, to sign an academic partnership agreement between the two colleges.   The meeting discussed the academic partnership between the Cybersecurity Engineering departments at the College of Information Engineering and Al-Mamon College, in light of the ministerial directions that encourage strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between public and private universities. The importance of developing academic curricula in the field of cybersecurity to keep pace with rapidly advancing technological developments was also addressed, especially in the face of modern challenges such as cyberattacks and security threats that require new protection techniques and methods.   Both parties discussed ways to expand cooperation between the two colleges in areas of joint scientific research, including organizing workshops, scientific lectures, and the exchange of academic and technical expertise between students and faculty members in both departments.   This partnership is expected to contribute to developing students’ skills in the field of cybersecurity engineering and enhance cooperation between public and private universities to meet the challenges of the digital age.   Department of Media and Government Communication Presidency of Al-Nahrain University

  نظمت وحدة حقوق الإنسان في الكلية ورشة علمية بعنوان “التوظيف التكنولوجي وأثره على انتهاك خصوصية الإنسان”، بحضور عدد من الباحثين والمهتمين بهذا الشأن.     هدفت الورشة إلى تسليط الضوء على التحديات التي يفرضها الاستخدام السلبي للتكنولوجيا على خصوصية الأفراد، وإبراز المخاطر المجتمعية الناجمة عن التوظيف غير المسؤول للتقنيات الحديثة. كما سعت إلى توعية الحاضرين بطرق الوقاية من هذه الظاهرة ومعالجتها عبر تشريعات قانونية مناسبة وتوجيهات مجتمعية تسهم في حماية الخصوصية.   ركزت الورشة على أهمية التصدي للتهديدات التي تواجه حقوق الإنسان الأساسية، لا سيما الحق في الخصوصية، في ظل التوسع السريع لاستخدام التكنولوجيا في مختلف جوانب الحياة اليومية. قدم المحاضرون، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور ندى عمران والمدرس المساعد مهدي علي وداعة، شرحاً تفصيلياً حول أبرز الانتهاكات المرتبطة بالاستخدام السلبي للتكنولوجيا. كما طرحوا توصيات عملية للحد من هذه الظاهرة من خلال تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي وسن قوانين صارمة لمواجهة هذه التحديات.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين      The College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University Organizes a Scientific Workshop on the Impact of Technology on Violating Human Privacy   The Human Rights Unit at the College of Political Science organized a scientific workshop titled “The Technological Utilization and Its Impact on Violating Human Privacy,” attended by a number of researchers, specialists, and those interested in the subject.   The workshop aimed to shed light on the challenges posed by the negative use of technology on individuals’ privacy and to highlight the societal risks caused by the irresponsible use of modern technologies. It also sought to raise awareness among the attendees about ways to prevent and address this phenomenon through appropriate legal legislation and community guidance to protect privacy.   The workshop focused on the importance of confronting the threats to fundamental human rights, particularly the right to privacy, in light of the rapid expansion of technology usage in various aspects of daily life. The presenters, Assistant Professor Dr. Nada Imran and Assistant Lecturer Mehdi Ali Wada’a, provided a detailed explanation of the major violations related to the negative use of technology.   أقام قسم علوم الحياة في كلية العلوم بجامعة النهرين ندوة علمية بعنوان “الأسباب الرئيسية لنقص فيتامين D3 لدى النساء”، قدمتها المدرس الدكتور عذراء غازي عبد الرزاق، بحضور عدد كبير من الطلبة والأساتذة والمهتمين.    هدفت الندوة إلى تسليط الضوء على أهمية فيتامين D3 لصحة الجسم والتوعية بالأسباب التي تؤدي إلى نقصه لدى النساء، بالإضافة إلى تقديم حلول وطرق وقائية للحد من هذه المشكلة الصحية.   تضمنت الندوة التعريف بفيتامين D3 ودوره كعنصر أساسي في تعزيز صحة العظام والجهاز المناعي والوقاية من العديد من الأمراض. كما تناولت الأسباب الرئيسية التي تؤدي إلى نقص الفيتامين لدى النساء، ومنها قلة التعرض لأشعة الشمس والأنماط الغذائية غير المتوازنة وبعض الحالات الصحية التي تؤثر على امتصاص الفيتامين. اختتمت الندوة بمناقشة وسائل الوقاية من نقص فيتامين D3،    أكدت المحاضرة على أهمية التعرض المنتظم لأشعة الشمس، وتناول الأغذية الغنية بالفيتامين مثل الأسماك الدهنية وصفار البيض، والاستعانة بالمكملات الغذائية عند الحاجة، مع التشديد على ضرورة إجراء الفحوص الدورية لمراقبة مستويات الفيتامين وضمان تحقيق التوازن الصحي.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين      The College of Science at Al-Nahrain University Organizes a Scientific Seminar on Vitamin D3 Deficiency in Women   The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science, Al-Nahrain University, organized a scientific seminar titled “The Main Causes of Vitamin D3 Deficiency in Women.” The seminar was presented by Dr. Athraa Ghazi Abdul-Razzaq and was attended by a large number of students, faculty members, and interested participants.   The seminar aimed to shed light on the importance of Vitamin D3 for overall health, raise awareness about the causes of its deficiency in women, and provide solutions and preventive measures to address this health issue.   The seminar included an introduction to Vitamin D3, highlighting its essential role in enhancing bone health, strengthening the immune system, and preventing various diseases.   نشر تدريسيان من كلية هندسة المعلومات، المدرس المساعد ايلاف أحمد سعيد والأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عمار داود جاسم، بحثًا علميًا في مجلة Data in Brief التي تصدر عن دار النشر Elsevier. هدف البحث إلى تطوير طريقة مبتكرة تعتمد على تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي والتعلم العميق للتعرف على النصوص القديمة وتصنيفها بدقة.   تناول البحث التحديات التي واجهها الباحثون في جمع البيانات، مثل تداخل الحروف أو التلف الذي أصاب النصوص بفعل الزمن والعوامل البيئية. كما ركز على النصوص المسمارية والعبرية باعتبارها من أقدم أنظمة الكتابة المعروفة. استخدم الباحثون نموذج YOLOv8 للكشف عن الحروف وتصنيف الصور بناءً على محتواها.   توصل البحث إلى نتائج واعدة، حيث أظهر النموذج قدرة على التعرف على الحروف بدقة تصل إلى 92%، مع إمكانية تصنيف النصوص المسمارية إلى ثلاث فئات رئيسية: سومرية، آشورية، وبابلية.   قدم البحث أداة فعالة تسهم في تسريع ودقة دراسة النصوص القديمة، مما يوفر دعمًا كبيرًا للباحثين وعلماء الآثار في دراسة وفهم تلك النصوص.   للاطلاع على البحث بالكامل الدخول على الرابط التالي:  https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S235234092400773X   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين      Two Faculty Members from the College of Information Engineering Publish a Scientific Paper in an International Journal on Using Artificial Intelligence for Classifying Ancient Texts   Two faculty members from the College of Information Engineering, Assistant Lecturer Ilaf Ahmad Said and Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Dawood Jassim, published a scientific paper in the journal Data in Brief, which is published by Elsevier. The aim of the paper was to develop an innovative method that relies on artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques to accurately recognize and classify ancient texts.   The paper addressed the challenges the researchers faced in data collection, such as overlapping characters or damage to the texts caused by time and environmental factors. It also focused on cuneiform and Hebrew texts as some of the oldest known writing systems. The researchers used the YOLOv8 model for character detection and image classification based on content.   The study achieved promising results, demonstrating that the model could recognize characters with an accuracy of up to 92%, with the ability to classify cuneiform texts into three main categories: Sumerian, Assyrian, and Babylonian.   The paper provides an effective tool that contributes to the faster and more accurate study of ancient texts, offering significant support to researchers and archaeologists in the study and understanding of these texts.   Department of Media and Government Communication Office of the President of Al-Nahrain University

  ناقشت كلية الطب في جامعة النهرين أطروحة دكتوراه في فرع الكيمياء والكيمياء الحياتية بعنوان “دراسة جينية وحركية لإنزيم ACE2 ومستوى الفورين في المرضى المصابين بعدوى كوفيد-19 الشديدة”، قدمتها الباحثة رغد أحمد محمد. بإشراف السيد مساعد رئيس الجامعة للشؤون العلمية، الأستاذ الدكتور عمر فاروق عبد الرشيد، والدكتورة نادرة سلمان محمد.    تناولت الأطروحة دراسة مستويات إنزيم ACE2 في مصل الدم لدى مرضى كوفيد-19 ومقارنتها بمجموعة التحكم، إلى جانب تقييم مستويات إنزيم فورين ودراسة ارتباطه بشدة الإصابة وتحليل الخصائص الحركية لإنزيم ACE2 لفهم دوره في تفاقم الحالة المرضية.   وأظهرت النتائج أن مستويات ACE2 كانت مرتفعة بشكل ملحوظ لدى المرضى الذين يعانون من حالات شديدة مقارنة بذوي الحالات الخفيفة ومجموعة التحكم، كما سجلت الدراسة زيادة كبيرة في مستويات إنزيم فورين لدى المرضى ذوي الحالات الشديدة، مما يشير إلى دوره المحتمل في تفاقم شدة المرض.    وكشفت الدراسة عن ارتفاع في عدد الصفائح الدموية وخلايا الدم البيضاء ومستويات D-dimer لدى المرضى ذوي الحالات الشديدة، مما يبرز إمكانية اعتمادها كمؤشرات لشدة الإصابة. كما بينت النتائج أن التعبير الجيني لإنزيم ACE2 كان مرتفعًا بوضوح لدى مرضى كوفيد-19 مقارنة بمجموعة التحكم، مما يسلط الضوء على الدور المزدوج لإنزيمي ACE2 وفورين في تحديد شدة الإصابة. هذه النتائج تعزز الفهم العلمي حول آليات المرض وقد تسهم في تطوير استراتيجيات علاجية مستهدفة لتحسين التعامل مع الحالات الشديدة من كوفيد-19.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي  رئاسة جامعة النهرين      A PhD Dissertation at Al-Nahrain University’s College of Medicine Discusses the Role of ACE2 and Furin Enzymes in COVID-19 Patients   The College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University discussed a PhD dissertation in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry titled “A Genetic and Kinetic Study of ACE2 Enzyme and Furin Levels in Patients with Severe COVID-19 Infections,” presented by researcher Raghd Ahmed Mohammed under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Farouq Abdul Rashid, and Dr. Nadera Salman Mohammed.   The dissertation examined the levels of ACE2 enzyme in the blood serum of COVID-19 patients and compared them with a control group, evaluated the levels of the Furin enzyme and its correlation with disease severity, and analyzed the kinetic properties of the ACE2 enzyme to understand its role in the progression of the disease.   The results revealed significantly elevated ACE2 levels in patients with severe cases compared to those with mild cases and the control group. The study also recorded a substantial increase in Furin enzyme levels in patients with severe cases, indicating its potential role in exacerbating disease severity.   Additionally, the research found elevated platelet counts, white blood cell levels, and D-dimer concentrations in severe cases, highlighting their potential as indicators of disease severity. It also showed that the genetic expression of ACE2 enzyme was markedly higher in COVID-19 patients compared to the control group, emphasizing the dual role of ACE2 and Furin enzymes in determining disease severity.   These findings enhance the scientific understanding of the mechanisms of COVID-19 and could contribute to developing targeted therapeutic strategies to better manage severe cases.   Department of Media and Government Communication Presidency of Al-Nahrain University

  نظم قسم الرياضيات وتطبيقات الحاسوب في كلية العلوم بجامعة النهرين ورشة عمل بعنوان “هندسة الفراكتال”، قدمتها الدكتورة إيمان عبدالوهاب حسين، بحضور عدد من تدريسيي القسم.   تناولت الورشة مفهوم هندسة الفراكتال وأهميتها في وصف خصائص الأشكال الطبيعية، مع التركيز على التحقق من الخصائص الرياضية لبعض الظواهر ومحاولة تفسيرها بناءً على الخواص الفراكتالية. وأوضحت الورشة أن الهندسة الفراكتالية تعتمد على أشكال غير منتظمة تتكون من أجزاء متداخلة بأحجام مختلفة، يتم تشكيلها عبر تكرار معادلات غير خطية أو تطبيق قواعد رياضية محددة، مع خاصية تقسيم الشكل الأساسي إلى أجزاء صغيرة تمثل صورة مصغرة عنه.   تطرقت الورشة أيضاً إلى تطبيقات الهندسة الفراكتالية في مجالات متنوعة، مثل تحليل الصور الرقمية، تصميم الأنظمة المعمارية، ودراسة الظواهر الطبيعية كالغيوم وتشكيلات الجبال. وأكدت على أهمية هذا العلم في تقديم حلول مبتكرة للمشاكل العلمية المعقدة.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين      The College of Science at Al-Nahrain University Organizes a Workshop on “Fractal Geometry”   The Department of Mathematics and Computer Applications at the College of Science, Al-Nahrain University, organized a workshop titled “Fractal Geometry,” presented by Dr. Iman Abdulwahab Hussein, with the attendance of several faculty members.   The workshop addressed the concept of fractal geometry and its importance in describing the properties of natural shapes, focusing on examining the mathematical characteristics of certain phenomena and interpreting them based on fractal properties. It explained that fractal geometry is based on irregular shapes consisting of overlapping parts of different sizes, formed through the repetition of nonlinear equations or the application of specific mathematical rules. It also highlighted the feature of dividing the main shape into smaller parts, each being a miniature version of the whole.   The workshop also explored the applications of fractal geometry in various fields, such as digital image analysis, architectural system design, and studying natural phenomena like clouds and mountain formations.   شارك الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور أنور شناوي ذياب التدريسي في كلية الحقوق بجامعة النهرين في الملتقى البحثي لمسؤولي أجهزة الحفاظ على سلامة اللغة العربية في الوزارات والمؤسسات العراقية الذي نظمه المجمع العلمي العراقي تحت عنوان “سلامة لغة المخاطبات الرسمية - المشكلات والمعالجات”   قدم الدكتور شناوي بحثه الموسوم بـ”منهجية التصحيح اللغوي بين الصحة والفصاحة - كتب المخاطبات الرسمية أنموذجًا” حيث تناول فيه أسباب انتشار الأخطاء اللغوية بين الموظفين وأنواعها والعقبات التي يواجهها الموظف في تصحيح المخاطبات كما عرّف بكتب تصحيح المخاطبات الرسمية وناقش بعض النماذج مثل تعميم وإعمام منسوب ومنتسب تأليف لجنة وتشكيل لجنة اتخاذ اللازم أطيب التحيات الأستاذة الدكتورة   يهدف البحث إلى بيان العقبات والصعوبات التي يواجهها محرر الكتاب الرسمي وسبل تذليلها وبيان منهجية الكتب التي تصدت لتصحيح لغة الموظفين وتوصل البحث الى مجموعة من النتائج اهمها الالتزام بالمنهج اللغوي العقلاني في تصحيح كتب المخاطبات الرسمية و جعل اللغة الصحيحة الموافقة لقواعد اللغة العربية معيارًا أساسيًا لتحرير الكتب الرسمية.    قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين     A Faculty Member from the College of Law Participates in the Research Forum for Officials of Arabic Language Preservation in Official Communications   Assistant Professor Dr. Anwar Shnawi Dhiyab, a faculty member at the College of Law at Al-Nahrain University, participated in the research forum for officials responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the Arabic language in ministries and institutions in Iraq, organized by the Iraqi Scientific Academy under the title “The Integrity of Official Communication Language: Problems and Solutions.”   Dr. Dhiyab presented his research titled “Linguistic Correction Methodology: Between Accuracy and Eloquence – A Case Study of Official Communication Letters.” The study addressed the causes of the spread of linguistic errors among employees, their types, the obstacles employees face when correcting official correspondence, and provided insights into the books used for correcting official communication. The research also examined specific examples such as “T‘amim and ‘Ammam,” “Mansoub and Muntasib,” “Formation of a Committee,” and others.   The research aimed to highlight the obstacles and challenges faced by official letter editors and the ways to overcome them, as well as clarify the methodology of books that address language correction for employees.   نظم قسم علوم الحياة في كلية العلوم حلقة نقاشية بعنوان “التأثيرات السامة للخلايا وموت الخلايا المبرمج لمجمعات القصدير (IV) التي تحتوي على قاعدة شيف مشتقة من سيفالكسين على خط خلايا سرطان الثدي”، قدمتها المدرس المساعد عبير عرفان عدنان.   تضمنت الحلقة تقديم دراسة حديثة ركزت على تخليق مركبات معدنية جديدة وتقييم تأثيرها السام على خلايا سرطان الثدي البشري (MCF-7) وخلايا الجلد الطبيعية (HDFn). أظهرت النتائج قدرة مركبات القصدير العضوي المصنعة على تثبيط نمو خلايا سرطان الثدي بفعالية، حيث أظهر المشتق الديبوتيل نشاطًا مضادًا للسرطان أعلى مقارنة بالمشتقات الأخرى.   أشارت الدراسة إلى أن تقنية الفحص عالية المحتوى (HCS) كشفت عن انخفاض ملحوظ في حيوية خلايا MCF-7، مما يعكس فعالية المركبات في تحفيز موت الخلايا المبرمج.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين    The College of Science Organizes a Discussion Seminar on Toxic Effects and Programmed Cell Death   The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science organized a discussion seminar titled “Toxic Effects of Cells and Programmed Cell Death of Tin(IV) Complexes Containing a Schiff Base Derivative from Cephalexin on Breast Cancer Cell Line,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Abeer Arfan Adnan.   The seminar presented a recent study that focused on synthesizing new metal complexes and evaluating their toxic effects on human breast cancer cells (MCF-7) and normal skin cells (HDFn). The results showed the ability of the synthesized organic tin complexes to effectively inhibit the growth of breast cancer cells, with the dibutyl derivative showing higher anticancer activity compared to other derivatives.   The study indicated that high-content screening (HCS) technology revealed a significant decrease in the viability of MCF-7 cells, reflecting the effectiveness of the complexes in inducing programmed cell death.   Department of Media and Government Communication Office of the President of Al-Nahrain University
